I find it inspiring that so many successful people say the same things. They don’t come right out and say them most of the time, but with awe inspiring subtlety it’s there. Maybe Dr. Dave Jenkins founder of SurfAid International says it best….”The best way for us to deal with our problems in life is to help someone else. New energy comes from having a purpose beyond your own concerns. It brings love and compassion into your life.”
I know “Just Be”, sounds easy..right..? Wrong? Just to sit and be is probably my biggest challenge, but I am working on it.
Dinner? Grilled white fish for fish tacos. Do yo like fish tacos? They’re low carb and good.
Worked in the garden today. Cleaned the Jetta. Actually rebooted the Jetta, if you have one and know what a MAF is you’ll know what I mean.
I’ve been thinking about my workouts lately. They need some work. I usually work out five times a week for at least a couple hours each session; this includes an hour or so of cardio. I need to step it up and train like a fucking monster. I think this picture will be my motivation for the next week of workouts. Peace and “Just Be”.
OK time to blog. I have included a picture of some landscaping I completed this summer. Fall is in the air, football on TV. I want some chicken wings.
I’ve been on a low carb diet for the past couple of weeks. I have lost about 13 pounds and want to lose another 15. At 6’2″ and 225 I think I can do it. I go to the gym at least five times a week. So I am no fat ass. Anyway, I am going to use this blog to keep up with me.
I fixed my car this week. I took it to the dealership and they wanted $750 to fix it. I picked it up and used their diagnostics to fix it myself. Cost me about $40 and less than an hour. Maybe I should change my profession.
Meditation, I am going to do it more and more. It makes me feel good. Later.
